Ms. Solá graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She also holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Houston. She is a Certified Public Accountant with Big Four international firm experience. Her expertise includes individual, corporate and partnership taxation; estate, individual and corporate tax planning; and general business consulting. Her industry knowledge includes international tax, real estate, non-profits, and personal taxation. She is a member of the AICPA, TSCPA, and Houston CPA Society.
Ms. Solá currently serves on the Board and is the Finance Committee Chair of SER-Jobs for Progress. She is past Chairman of the Board of AAMA and past Treasurer of Talento Bilingue de Houston and the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She is an American Leadership Forum Senior Fellow and a spring 2012 graduate of the Center for Houston’s Future Leadership Forum. She is fluent in Spanish and has taught introductory accounting courses as part of the University of Houston-SBDC Small Business Program.
